Teen PHP in Flower Mound, TX — conditions we treat

Healing the Whole Teen: What We Treat and How We Restore
We don't treat the diagnosis. We treat the whole person behind it.

Whatever brought you here — there's a path forward for your teenager.
A free, honest conversation
Before anything else, we get on a call with you. No intake forms, no pressure. Just a real conversation about what's going on and whether we're the right fit.

We handle the insurance
We're out-of-network with all major commercial plans — and we verify your benefits and walk you through the financial picture clearly before you commit to anything.

A thorough, compassionate intake
Our clinical team takes the time to understand your teen's full history, their needs, and their goals. We coordinate with any previous providers — with your permission — so nothing falls through the cracks.

A gentle first week
The first few days are about getting comfortable — meeting the space, the team, and the other teens. Individual work begins right away: core values, externalizing the problem, and the foundational question "How did I get here?"

Five days a week of real treatment
Groups, individual therapy, DBT rotations, academic support, family programming, psychiatric care — all of it, every week, guided by a weekly "Re" theme that gives treatment a coherent arc.

A thoughtful step-down — not a goodbye
PHP isn't meant to last forever. As your teen stabilizes and builds skills, we plan the next step together — whether that's our IOP, outpatient therapy, or a community referral. We don't discharge without a real plan.

Frequently asked Questions
Think of it as the level of care in between. Inpatient is 24-hour hospital-based care. Weekly therapy is one hour a week. PHP is intensive daily programming — without an overnight stay. Your teen gets real treatment. You still get them home every night.
Most programs build around a diagnosis. We build around a story. Our Narrative Therapy foundation means your teen isn't defined by their anxiety, depression, or trauma — they're guided to separate themselves from those things and start writing something new. The weekly Re framework gives treatment a cohesive arc that most programs don't have.
No. We built specifically to prevent that. Our certified teachers provide one-on-one academic support, coordinate directly with your teen's school district, assist with credit recovery, IEP and 504 accommodations, and SAT prep. School isn't a casualty of treatment here — it's part of it.
Reluctance is completely normal — and honestly, something we're experienced at working through. Once teens arrive, the weekly themes, the expressive activities, and the peer connection tend to break the ice in ways traditional therapy doesn't. Most teens who arrive skeptical tell us they're glad they came — usually within the first week.
Absolutely — and we encourage it. We want your teen to feel comfortable before their first day. Call us to schedule a visit.
I don't directly accept insurance at this time. However, I believe everyone deserves access to quality mental health support. If you're interested in working together but the session cost is a concern, please reach out! I offer sliding scale pricing for clients to help make therapy more accessible. We can discuss this during your free 15-minute consultation.
